Sonic Origins Plus is to release in June for consoles and PC
Sonic fans, get ready for a treat this June! An expanded version of Sonic Origins, called Sonic Origins Plus, will be released on June 23. This version will include 12 Sonic games for Game Gear, with Amy as a playable character in Sonic The Hedgehog 1, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD. Additionally, Knuckles will be a playable character in Sonic CD.
What’s Included in Sonic Origins Plus?
Sonic Origins Plus will feature all the content from Sonic Origins and its previously released DLC, along with the new content mentioned above. The physical version of the game will also include a 20-page art book and a reversible cover with a new design. The digital version will be available for $9.99 for those who already have Sonic Origins, while the physical version can be pre-ordered for $39.99.

Later this year, new episodes of Netflix’s Sonic Prime will be released, along with a spin-off series featuring Knuckles the Echidna for Paramount+. And, on December 20, 2024, a new Sonic The Hedgehog movie will hit the screens.
