Soccer Star Alex Morgan reacts to WNBA news

Over the past few weeks, the WNBA has seen numerous big-name players move around teams.  

It was Alex Morgan, a US Women’s National team player who expressed her excitement for the upcoming season. The WNBA season will commence in 3 months; however, teams have wasted no time in recruiting new names to add to their rosters.

Who were the big-name signings?

It is the Las Vegas aces and the New York Liberty who has put together some of the finest names in the league.

Last Saturday, Las Vegas added Candace Parker to their roster. She is set to join a team consisting of the likes of Chelsea Gray, Kelsey Plum, A’Ja Wilson, and Jackie Young.  

Soon after, on Wednesday, Liberty brought along their own ‘Marquee’ signing as they added Breanna Stewart to their offense. The two-time WNBA Champion will join hands with Sabrina Ionescu and Jonquel Jones to form one of the best trios in the league.

The Liberty continued with their recruitment as they announced the arrival of another All-Star Courtney Vandersloot on Thursday.

How did Alex Morgan react?

Morgan who keeps tabs on the ongoings in the WNBA world reacted to the new line-ups by tweeting “Sheesh”.

The WNBA season will kick off on May 19 and host the All-Star game on July 15.
