Simone Biles Makes History: Husband’s Sweet Reaction
Simone Biles, the amazing U.S. gymnast, has done it again!
She showed her incredible skills on a special Sunday night and won her eighth national championship. This makes her the best in the country’s history when it comes to gymnastics.
This fantastic event happened at the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships in San Jose, Calif. Simone’s performance was like magic, and it helped her get a very high score of 118.450 points. People who watched her were amazed by how good she was.

She’s the first gymnast in history – man or woman – to win 8 U.S. all-around titles!#XfinityChamps pic.twitter.com/vcz2T3b9yN
This win also does something very cool – it makes her the first gymnast from the U.S., whether they’re a boy or a girl, to get eight championship titles. This beats the old record of seven titles held by Alfred Jochim, who was a really great male gymnast from a long time ago. Simone is 26 years old now, but she first wowed everyone when she was just 16. This means she’s also the oldest woman in the U.S. to be the best at everything in gymnastics.
Simone’s husband, Jonathan Owens, wanted to show how proud he is of her. He put up a message on his Instagram Story to tell everyone how much he supports her.
Jonathan plays football for the Green Bay Packers as a safety, and he and Simone got married this year.
This is a big year for Simone, and winning this championship adds to her already amazing list of achievements.
Congratulations, Simone! You’re really something special.
