Shohei Ohtani Locker Cleared Out Due To Injury After Angeles Lost Against Detroit

Shohei Ohtani cleared out his locker from the Angeles locker room due to injury. Reportedly, after the Los Angeles Angels lost against the Detroit Tigers, Ohtani’s locker was empty.

According to Jeff Fletcher told the media, “Shohei Ohtani has cleared out his locker in the #Angels clubhouse. The Angels say they will have no information on what has happened until tomorrow.”

Due to Ohtani’s Oblique injury, he has been out of the Angels’ lineup since September 3. Right now, Ohtani is also suffering from a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow.

Shohei’s empty locker room shows he’s done with the rest of the season. It wouldn’t be surprising at all if Ohtani would take the next few weeks off.

Ohtani became a huge name in Baseball games. Even after his torn UCL injury, there is a high probability that he’ll end up with a massive contract this winter.

Ohtani has a .304 batting average with 44 homers and 95 RBI this season. He also has a 10-5 record with a 3.14 ERA and 167 strikeouts.

who knows, maybe this is the last time fans saw Ohtani in Angeles uniform.
