Shannon Sharpe’s Emotional Video With his Daughter is Going Viral
Shannon Sharpe, a famous NFL player who was on a TV show called Undisputed last Tuesday, is not on the show anymore. He used to play football as a tight end and was planning to leave the show after the basketball season ended. On his last day of work, he came dressed up nicely and everyone was excited to see what would happen.
The Denver Nuggets beat the Miami Heat on Monday night and became the champions. On the dame day another video came out in which The 54-year-old showed all his emotions and started crying while thanking his co-host, Skip Bayless. He tried to continue with his usual work despite feeling emotional. In the video that was recorded behind the scenes, the three-time Super Bowl champion arrived at FOX, preparing for his last performance, and then leaving the place.
“Skip Bayless, you fought for me,” Sharpe said in his parting monologue.
“I’m here because of you. You’ve allowed me to share the stage with you. You allow me to share the platform. The opportunity that you gave me, to become what I became, I’m forever indebted to you. I’ll never forget what you did for me. You’ve helped me grow more than you ever know.”
Some on social media took issue with how it ultimately went down.
Apart from that small bit of drama, it will be exciting to see what will happen next for Sharpe. The real reason why he decided to leave Bayless and the show “Undisputed” is now publicly known.
Let’s wait and see if Sharpe will be able to find a better career option in the future. ESPN is a big possibility, but Stephen A. Smith has mentioned that he prefers “First Take” to be more like a group discussion rather than a one-on-one argument like it used to be with Bayless.
