Dmitrovic attacked by a fan during Europa League
It was after Sevilla’s loss against PSV in the Europa League that a spectator entered the pitch and ran towards goalkeeper Dmitrovic. The fan tried to hit the goalkeeper but he was unable to do anything as Dmitrovic retaliated and held him to the ground until security arrived.
WHAT DID THEY SAY?
Dmitrovic told the reporters, “He came and pushed me from behind. He was probably angry about the result and a bit crazy already. He tried to hit me and I managed to grab him and wait for him to security will arrive. It’s never nice to see this in football, it shouldn’t happen and from now on I hope these things are well punished.”
