Seahawks WR Cade Johnson Suffers Concussion Amid Preseason-Opening Against Vikings
Last night, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cade Johnson suffered a concussion during the preseason-opening game against Minnesota Vikings.
The scary moment happened on Thursday night when Seahawks WR Cade had to be taken off to the hospital in the middle of the game. Johnson suffered a concussion during the second quarter after he got tackled on a kickoff return.
25, Cade was immediately taken off the field head and neck immobilized, strapped to a stretcher, and taken into the tunnel where an ambulance parks during games, via Gregg Bell’s tweet.

Johnson was transported to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center. After the game Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll talked to the ESPN reporter Carroll reporter about his health update and said the team got a good report. He stayed in the medical facility a night as a precaution.
Carroll said, “We got a real good report, the early one. I’m hoping that’s conclusive, but that’s what we heard.”
Cade played college football at South Dakota State before being signed by the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2021. He only appeared in three games last year.
Even after Cade Johnson’s health scare in the middle of the game, the Seahawks defeated the Vikings with a 24-13 score.
We are hoping there is nothing to worry about and will pray for his speedy recovery.
