Scottie Scheffler Hits His Face With Driver At Travelers Championship
World no. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler caught himself in a funny accident with his driver accidentally hitting himself in the face.
The incident happened in the Travelers Championship during the second round when Scottie struck the tee shot and lost control of his driver. Though his club fell to the ground and the grip suddenly came out of nowhere and whacks the golfer’s face.
The official PGA TourTwitter handle posted a slow-motion video of the Scheffler. It’s kinda funny to see a professional golfer like Scheffler can do a mishap amid an important game.
Apart from this, Scottie pulls himself together for the second round. He went bogey-free and posted a 7-under 63, putting him in a tie for 21st heading into the weekend.
With 15-under Keegan Bradley and Denny McCarthy currently leading the scoreboard at Tournament Player Club, River Highlands.
In last week’s U.S. Open championship, Scottie Scheffler finished in third right behind Wyndham Clark and Rory McIlroy.
