Sam Ponder from ESPN is Praying for Dick Vitale

Dick Vitale, an American sports commentator is dealing with cancer and is having a hard time these days. As he’s being treated, he getting a lot of well wishes from his fans all around the globe. Many well-known personalities also pray for him and one of them is Sam Ponder.

Ponder is also a sports commentator and a colleague of Dick from ESPN. She also gave her well-wishes to Dick Tuesday morning.

According to the reports, Dick is currently having vocal cord surgery in hopes of recovering from cancer and improving his condition.

Ponder tweeted a heartfelt message to Vitale earlier today.

“You’ve got this @DickieV. Sending all my love and prayers for you today,” Ponder wrote.

I get so emotional thinking about how blessed I am to receive so many 🙏🙏🙏& ❤️❤️❤️from obviously my family -my 2nd Family colleagues from @espn , media , the basketball landscape , and the fans . U all have touched me so much & it is y I want to keep u posted of my status .

Vitale is also quite open and vulnerable about his health as you can see in his tweet.
