Ryder Cup Loss Left World No. 1 Golfer In Tears

World’s no. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler broke down in tears after the USA’s record-breaking loss against Europe in the Ryder Cup.

On Saturday morning USA team Scottie Scheffler and Brooks Koepka were defeated by European team Ludvig Aberg and Viktor Hovland.

Scheffler, who wasn’t expecting the Ryder Cup loss would be that brutal? Later, Scottie was caught on the camera sulking and in tears consoled by his wife Meredith.

Scheffler nearly broke down in tears after falling to a thumping 9 and 7 defeat against Viktor Hovland and Ludvig Aberg alongside Brooks Koepka on day two of the Ryder Cup.

The USA team had a chance to reach square one on their second day. USA Captain Johnson sent his two strongest duo Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and Scheffler, Brooks Koepka.

Scheffler’s miscued shot at the 11th and gave Koepka a chance to save the hole but Brooks’ failure as a result Europe won the match.

All this was too much for the world’s no. 1 golfer Scheffler and broke down in tears. Sky Sports commentator Claude Harmon also sympathized with Scottie.

However, Scottie Scheffler was constantly consoled by his wife Meredith. She had kept trying to cheer him up and rubbing his back to soothe him.

It was a relaxing thought that Scheffler had someone by his side to comfort him.
