Rumors: The LA Lakers in NBA seem to be concerned about Russell Westbrook’s playoff 

Russell Westbrook is one of the most named players in the LA Lakers. For quite some time, Russell has been not showing his potential in his gameplay. Which has marked him low in the rankings as per the NBA. The team is also noticing that Russell’s performance is not up to the mark and it will not make the team win the big leagues.

Despite his gameplay, he has been averaging 15.8 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game. Previously Russell had an extremely different level of gameplay. And he has also been inspiring his team in the second half, which makes the team play excellently.

But sometimes it is seen that Russell is not consistent with his shot. Which is not good for both team and for him, as the team is struggling to get their position in the NBA finals.

Russell Westbrook’s performance postseason and season

As per the reports, Russell has been not performing well which is making his scoring low day by day. And according to his coach and team members, his presence is not supporting the team. On the other hand, the team position is also decreasing in the ranking as per NBA.

But when we talk about his postseason, he has performed excellently. Westbrooks has been shooting 41.8% from the field, including 28.2% from 3-point range. Russell is a perfect forward player for his team.

LA Lakers can’t afford missed shots from Russell Westbrook

As per the reports and current stats, the Lakers are one of the worst shooters, when it comes to short zone shots. And when it comes to Russell he is shooting 57.8% of shots in the restricted area which is the worst conversion as per the players who have been attempting to score a minimum of 5 shots in the area.

Now the Lakers have to change their game by using the opportunity. So that they could make their place in a better position at the Western Conference. And when it comes to ranking it ranks 13th in the western conference.

It is quite difficult for the LA Lakers to come back but yet not impossible. So the team is looking towards it, and will soon make some changes to reach the crown.
