Ronda Rousey’s plan changed for WWE

It seemed as if Ronda Rousey would enter 2023 still as “SmackDown” Women’s Champion after successfully defending her title against Raquel Rodriguez. That seems to be, till Charlotte Flair unexpectedly resumed her comeback to the blue brand, taking on Ronda Rousey for the women’s championship and winning, making her a 14-time winner. However, it wasn’t the intended strategy, claims a statement from deliberate Choice. Ronda’s fight with Rodriguez was planned to take place at the Royal Rumble in January, according to early December preparations. They ended up choosing to air it on “SmackDown” on December 30 along with John Cena’s comeback. The choice had a knock-on impact and can be counted as an efficient impact.

December’s planning indicated that Rousey and Rodriguez would square off at the Battle Royal in January. On December 30, they decided to show it on “SmackDown” in conjunction with  Cena’s return. The decision has a cascading effect and could be considered to have an effective influence.
