Rob Gronkowski will miss seeing Tom Brady on the field
Nothing surprised Rob Gronkowski more than the retirement announcement of Tom Brady.
The longtime friend and former teammate of Brady expressed his disbelief on Tuesday at the news that the legendary quarterback will not play in 2023.
The longtime teammate of Brady, Gronk believes that in the 45s the legend is not too weak or old to play the match, rather it can bring fire to the field with him.
He further added that the 45-year-old quarterback still has some gas in the tank. Brady stated earlier this week that he still believes he can play at a high level but has decided it’s time to retire from the sport he adores.
Earlier in 2021 Brady had announced his retirement. After the 2021 season, Brady changed his mind about retiring, but it seems this year’s decision is final.
As Fox broadcasters, Brady and Gronk will soon reunite as partners once more. Brady stated earlier this week that he will start his broadcasting responsibilities in 2024.
