Chelsea signing Enzo Fernandez received a lot of praise for his outstanding display against Mexico at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Even the skipper, Lionel Messi, said that he deserved all the praise he received.
Enzo became the most expensive signing in Premier League History after he was transferred by Benfica, who were paid £150 million for him. The former Benfica midfielder announced his joining in Argentina’s second group game against Mexico. He scored a remarkable goal and went to a 2-0 victory.
Lionel Messi complimented Enzo Fernandez
The seven times Ballon d’Or, Messi, praised him after the game at a press conference. He complimented Fernandez’s work ethic and hard work. The FIFA 2022 World Cup winner spoke about the Chelsea signing, Fernandez.

Messi is a marvelous captain, but his remarks on Fernandez show his courtesy and kindness toward other players. Enzo’s achievement was commendable. He deserved every compliment he got. So far, he has appeared in all seven games for Argentina. Fernandez was the best young player in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which took place in Qatar.
