Reports: One team wants to pursue Kevin Durant for a trade
After the departure of Kyrie Irving from the Nets, the Phoenix Suns are in pursuit of Brooklyn Nets’ star Kevin Durant. Suns have already been in the news this trade season, and here is yet another one.
As per the Bleacher Report, the Suns are ready to pursue the Nets forward Durant, based on his availability. Though, the Nets have not provided any information about his trade.
The insider of Bleacher Report, Chris Haynes, wrote, “The Phoenix Suns are prepared to pursue Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant should he become available, league sources tell (NBA on TNT and Bleacher Report).
Durant’s journey with the Nets
Kevin Durant has played 39 games out of 40, but he missed the last 12 games due to his injury, an MCL sprain. He had a terrible time with the Nets. Durant could play only 129 games in 3.5 seasons. And the worst part was that he could not make a good team with stars like James Harden and Kyrie Irving. He could manage to play 16 games with Harden and Irving and 74 games with Kyrie.
The Brooklyn Nets are on the edge, and Durant will probably want to leave.
It will just be an assumption until Durant gets traded. But the question is will he be traded?
