Reports: Isco is to be offered to Roma as Nicolo Zaniolo’s replacement
As per the reports, the former Real Madrid star Isco has been offered to Roma as Nicolo Zaniolo’s replacement.
The Turkish transfer window closes on Wednesday, February 08, and AS Roma wants to transfer Zaniolo to Galatasaray before that.
According to Calciomercato, an intermediary offered free agent Isco to Roma. The 23-year-old Zaniolo is open to moving that will give Roma a way to sign a replacement.
Isco’s contract with Sevilla was terminated four months after his joining, and he was left as a free agent. He was willing to join Bundesliga but after all the negotiations his deal with the club collapsed due to a wage dispute.
The former Real Madrid star was paid €1 million per season by Sevilla and he was expecting similar deals from the clubs that were willing to sign him.
The 30-year-old has a remarkable experience to boast about, as he won the UEFA Championship League on 5 occasions. He also made 353 appearances for Los Blancos and scored 53 goals and 57 assists.
Also, Isco has never worked under Jose Mourinho.
