Reports: Houston Rockets And Sacramento Kings players get into a huge fight on the court
The Kings regained control of the game against the Houston Rockets in the third quarter, outscoring them 43-26. It was looking like the Rockets would lose the game, but in the 4th quarter, things suddenly turned exciting.
When Sacramento was leading by 112-94 early in the last period, Garrison Mathews and Monk got into it, and Mathews extended his left arm to ward off Monk, which he didn’t like. After this, Monk slapped the ball that Mathews was cradling.
Both teams went nose-to-nose and immediately began arguing and trash-talking before the benches of both teams moved to the Rockets’ end of the court.
In the last match between the Kings and the Rockets, there was a deadly argument between Monk & Mathews. Both of them were separated by team members, and after this, four people (the Kings’ Monk, Chimezie Metu, the Rockets’ Mathews, and Tari Eason) were all ejected from the game.
This wasn’t the first time in a span of three nights that Garrison Mathews earned the ire of the Sacramento Kings players. Recently, he hammered Keegan Murray hard while the rookie was going for a layup.
