Reason Behind Why Damian Lillard Wants to Join Miami Heat
Damian Lillard, the NBA star has already made it clear to every that he wishes to join the Miami Heat and has also demanded a trade from the Portland Trail Blazers. But what is the reason for this choice and why he’s so eager to join the Heat? everyone was wondering about this question and they finally got the answer.
Lillard expected the team to improve their performance. But when things didn’t go as he planned, he made up his mind to change the team as he warned before.
But the only thing which was complicating the matters was that Lillard was fixed for one team and refused to make any deals with the other team. Unfortunately, the Heat’s trade offer was not liked by Blazers and they aren’t ready to trade Lillard for so less. Of course, trading him will bring major changes for the team, so they aren’t up for such a loss.
As everyone was wondering why Lillard was so fixated to join Heat, NBA insider Tim Reynolds appeared on Marc Stein’s podcast and revealed the reason.
“He’s made up his mind, this is what he wants,” Reynolds said.
“There’s a billion reasons why. The connection he had with Bam Adebayo I think is a really understated story right now in this whole deal. They connected incredibly at the Tokyo Olympics. You could see bonds being formed. They’ve stayed close.”
Not that situation is stuck at a deadlock, We will see how it will be resolved in the end.
