Reaction From Christian Wood’s After Joining LeBron James, Lakers
Christian Wood, one of the most famous American basketball players who played for the Dallas Mavericks in last season has joined the Los Angeles Lakers this week, and the star player LeBron James.
According to the news, Weeds has signed a $5.7 million contract with L.A. on Tuesday. After talking for a long time about whether Rob Pelinka could make it happen, fans were happy to finally see it happen.
That said, nobody was more excited than Wood himself.
“It’s always been my dream to be a Laker,” Wood wrote on social media.
Now that Woods has got what he always wanted, it’s up to him to perform well on the court and take advantage of this opportunity to regain all the respect he has lost in the last season.
It’s already known by everyone that Wood and Jason Kidd didn’t get along with the Dallas Mavericks last year. Some people say that Kidd simply didn’t like him, for some reason, and that their relationship was bad right from the start. There’s some truth to that.
But it’s also true that Wood isn’t very good at defense, and he sometimes keeps the ball too much on offense. He needs to work on these issues before he starts playing for the Lakers.
Despite Wood’s flaws, fans seemed happy to have him.
Amazing signing. Congrats.

Many famous players have come to L.A. after not-so-great seasons and made their careers better. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Malik Monk did it, and now Wood is doing the same. The Lakers will give him a chance, but it’s really up to him. Can Wood make his career better with the Lakers? We’ll find out soon enough.
