Re-Imagining a Destiny 2 Exotic: A Different Take On a Classic Weapon

The Lightfall expansion for Destiny 2 has seen an unusual amount of bugs occur with Exotic weapons. From SMGs to Rocket Launchers, players have encountered a range of issues with Exotics that have impacted their ability to play. One of the most recent issues is with the Two-Tailed Fox Exotic Rocket Launcher.

What is the Two-Tailed Fox?

The Two-Tailed Fox is an Exotic Rocket Launcher that was released with the Shadowkeep expansion. It is capable of dealing both Void and Solar damage and is one of the most powerful weapons in the game. With the addition of the Third Tail Exotic Catalyst, the Two-Tailed Fox can also fire an Arc-damaged rocket.

What is the Bug?

Unfortunately, the Third Tail Exotic perk is currently bugged and doesn’t fire properly if the player is moving forward. Nodnahs, a Destiny 2 YouTuber, reported that the third rocket only works if the player is moving in any other direction or while falling. This can be problematic for players who wish to use the weapon as a DPS option, as they may be hindered from moving to avoid hampering DPS.

Bungie’s Response

Bungie has been quick to patch issues with Exotics as they arise, however, the Lightfall expansion has seen an unusual amount of Exotic weapon-related bugs pop up. Players can only hope that Bungie will soon fix the Exotic Rocket Launcher, alongside several other bugged Destiny 2 weapons.

The Two-Tailed Fox Exotic Rocket Launcher is a powerful weapon in Destiny 2 and has earned a place in the DPS meta. Unfortunately, with the current bug, players are hindered from using the Third Tail Exotic Catalyst effectively. Hopefully, Bungie will patch this issue soon and players can enjoy the full functionality of this Exotic Rocket Launcher.
