Rapper Symba Playfully Taunts Joy Taylor as Miami Heat Struggle in NBA Finals: “Heatster Takes a Beating”

Rapper Symba didn’t hold back after the Miami Heat fell behind in the 2023 NBA Finals, and he made sure to let Joy Taylor, a popular Fox Sports personality, know about it.

Following an outstanding performance by Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray in Game 3, leading the Denver Nuggets to a series lead, Symba took to Instagram to share a funny encounter with his fans.

In a video on his Instagram Story, Symba, rocking cool sunglasses and a flashy gold chain, revealed that Taylor paid him a visit.

On his Instagram Story, Symba, rocking cool sunglasses and a flashy gold chain, revealed that Taylor paid him a visit.

“Well, well, well…,” Symba exclaimed, adjusting his chain with surprise. “Guess what happened today? While I was working on a project, I bumped into someone from the Miami Heat.”

Taylor’s laughter could be heard off-screen as Symba continued his playful taunt. “The Heatster who got beatster!” he declared, turning the camera to show Joy sitting next to the studio switchboard.

Joy Taylor responded with a smile, saying, "It's too early to throw shade. We'll be fine."

Curious to hear Taylor’s thoughts on dealing with Jokic, whom Symba referred to as “Joker,” he asked her about it. Taylor responded with a smile, saying, “It’s too early to throw shade. We’ll be fine.”

Undeterred, Symba predicted that the Heat would lose Game 4 and asked Taylor how she planned to handle the team potentially trailing 3-1 in the series.

“Well, I’ll just sit here and talk some trash,” she confidently replied.

Taylor acknowledged the challenge of dealing with Jokic’s dominance on the court while expressing concern about the other talented players on the Nuggets, similar to the Heat’s strategy in Game 2.

“And that’s when you know hope starts to fade,” Symba summed up.

In the caption of the video, Symba jokingly mentioned that he had been arguing with Taylor for three hours. “Her Miami Heat is done, and she knows it,” Symba added, along with tears of joy emojis.

Throughout the 2023 playoffs, Taylor had been rooting for Jimmy Butler and the Heat, even when her Speak co-stars disagreed.

Despite being from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Taylor became a Heat fan while attending Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida.
