Rapper ‘Sean’ Diddy Donate $1 Million To the Jackson After Deion Sanders Departure
Rapper Sean Diddy Combs Made his Promis to the Jackson University.
In 2022, Diddy appealed for the $1 million dollar for his alma mater at Howard University. He said he wanted to do something for Coach Sanders and Jackson University.
Recently the president of the Jackson University Dr. Elayne Hayes-Anthony announced that Diddy kept his promise to help the University. Diddy said in his speech, “Before I leave, I want to donate $1 million dollars to Howard University,”
further added, “Also, I’m going to drop another million dollars on Deion Sanders and Jackson State because we should play for us.”
Even after his friend and former coach Deion Sanders left the university and become head coach of the University of Colorado.
President Hayes-Anthony said, “P Diddy, as our students call him, and as we probably know him as Sean Combs, has released $1 million dollars to Jackson State for athletics,”
Dr. Anthony said, “And we are very, very pleased about that. We will be receiving $332,000 by June 23 as a first installment and we get another installment in 2024 and another in 2025.”
Though Sanders left the HBCU program his impact is still their contributing good in favor of the Alma mater.
