Rams Star Wide Receiver Kupp Not In Good Shape, Left Practice With Trainers
The Los Angeles Star Wide Receiver Cooper Kupp is not in shape for the 2023 NFL season. Reportedly, Cooper left practice early with his trainer.
In the last 2022 season, health had been an issue for the Rams’ wide receiver Cooper Kupp and defensive tackle Aaron Donald. In the 2022 campaign, the Rams finished the season with a 5-12 record in the absence of its star players Aaron Donald and Cooper Kupp.
Cooper Kupp hasn’t been healthy enough to attend the practices regularly at Rams training camp. 30, Kupp had ankle surgery in this offseason and still recuperating from it. However, he does look good and in full strength in training camp at practice until this Tuesday.
According to the reporter Jourdan Rodrigue, “Cooper Kupp walked off the field with athletic training staff during practice. Sean McVay says he does not know what happened or Kupp’s current status.”

The reason why Cooper left early is due to his Hamstring injury, via the USA Today report. The head coach Sean McVay said, “Obviously we’re much better when he’s here, and we hope he’s going to be OK. If he’s not, we’ll see what happens, but the practice had to go on.”
Veteran Kupp is one of the main players of the Rams and his absence in the 2023 NFL season will impact the overall team performance. He had 75 catches for 812 yards and six touchdowns in only nine games last season before his ankle sprain.
