Pulisic confident of Chelsea finishing top four
Pulisic believes Chelsea can turn it around
Christian Pulisic has expressed his discontent following the poor season. Despite a draw against relegation threatened, the American believes that Chelsea can still finish in the Champions League spots in the remaining 10 games.
Chelsea is currently 11 points short of top four thus it will not be an easy job. The London club will have to maintain a near perfect record to be able to make it to the top four.
What did Pulisic have to say?
“Saturday was unfortunate but yes, we can be proud of overcoming that tough spell we had and we are trying to look forward,” Pulisic said after joining the USMNT.
“Felt like we had a lot of control for most of the time I was in the game and naturally when you take a lead, you are a bit hesitant, a bit more defensive. That was the only time we felt threatened, at all, but I think it was a good performance and we could have been up by two or three goals.
“The fans, for sure, have been great. We appreciate that. We will keep fighting and keep pushing, as we want to do well for the fans.
“If you string a couple of wins together, it’s possible. We still have to play the teams above us. Anything is possible, and we are going to keep fighting [for top four],” the American added.”
