PSG summer recruit Renato Sanches gets frustrated due to lack of game time

Renato Sanches, the Paris Saint-Germain summer recruit, showed his frustration with the lack of game time. He insisted on playing more. PSG signed Sanches for €15 million from Lile. The European Champion does not seem to like it with the PSG

Sanches struggled with injuries in the first place. He missed 6 Ligue 1 because of his injuries (in the 2022-23 season).

He took the team to a 3-1 win over Montpellier on February 1. After Sergio Ramos’ head injury, he got a chance to be a midfield in the last 31 minutes. He could not make the most of this opportunity, and Sanches was on edge the whole night.

Sanches dissatisfied with the game’s timing

Renato Sanches was annoyed as he did not get enough time to play. He was totally dissatisfied with the game time and spoke to the press after the game.

”I just need to gain some confidence and play some more. I come back from injury, I know it’s a bit complicated, it’s a bit frustrating because it’s difficult to play well when you come back from injury. I feel good, I just need to play a little more,” Sanches said (via Canal-Supporters).

Though he was not happy with the game, he made it clear that he respects the decision of his coach. He said,” The coach chooses the players. Me, I’m not happy, it’s normal that from time to time I want to play more. But I respect the coach’s decision, it’s him who decides, I’m here to give my best.”
