One key playmaker for the offense of the Kansas City Chiefs has already been ruled out for the Super Bowl.
Before their Sunday game against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Chiefs will be somewhat vulnerable and shorthanded.
Three wide receivers for the Chiefs skipped practice on Thursday. They had a chance to recover physically for the Super Bowl during the last week.
Mecole Hardman, a wide receiver, has been put on injured reserve, according to ESPN’s Adam.
Since Week 9, Hardman has been suffering from a pelvic ailment. He participated in the AFC Championship for the first time since Week 9 but was forced to leave after aggravating the injury.
This season, Edwards-Helaire has participated in ten games for the Kansas City Chiefs. During the regular season, he rushed for 302 yards and scored three touchdowns.
Edwards-Helaire had 171 receiving yards, three touchdown catches and assisted in the passing game as well. He hadn’t played since Week 11 when he was hurt against the Los Angeles Chargers and sustained a severe ankle sprain.
