Pokemon Go Shiny Gimmighoul and Gholdengo Update
Players are curious if a Gimmighoul can have a shiny appearance in Pokemon Go, just like how coins become shiny when polished under the sunlight. This question has arisen as Gimmighoul and Gholdengo have been recently added to the game through a new feature. It seems that Pokemon Go players can catch the Roaming Form of Gimmighoul, which is unique to the mobile game and can be obtained by linking Pokemon Go to a copy of Scarlet or Violet. This feature allows players to send Postcards to their Nintendo Switch and unlock a Coin Bag, which in turn enables them to encounter Gimmighoul (Roaming Form) in Pokemon Go.
However, it remains unclear whether Gimmighoul or its evolved form, Gholdengo, can have a shiny appearance in the game. While some players may have already encountered shiny versions of these Pokemon, it’s also possible that they have not yet been programmed into the game or released for players to find. As such, it may be best to check official sources or the game’s community to see if shiny versions of these Pokemon are currently available in Pokemon Go.
Is it Possible to Catch Shiny Gimmighoul and Gholdengo?
It appears that while Gimmighoul can have a shiny appearance in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, its Roaming Form is not currently available as a shiny variant in Pokemon Go. As with many other Pokemon in the game, it’s possible that shiny versions of Gimmighoul’s Roaming Form may be introduced in the future through special events or updates.
As of now, Shiny Gimmighoul and Shiny Gholdengo are not available in Pokemon Go. However, it’s likely that Niantic, the developer of the game, will introduce shiny variants of these Pokemon in a future update or event. Niantic has a history of using unique and exclusive Pokemon like Gimmighoul as focal points for special events and updates, so it’s possible that shiny versions of these Pokemon may be introduced in the future. Players should keep an eye out for announcements from Niantic or updates to the game that may introduce shiny variants of Gimmighoul and Gholdengo.
