The PUBG Mobile World Invitational (PMWI) 2022 will conclude a two-week event, including the Main Event in week 1 and Afterparty Showdown in Week 2. The Main Event is scheduled to start on 11 August 2022 and will end on 13 August 2022. The three-day event will feature 18 teams from all over the globe to fight for the title and win the prize money. The Main Event will feature six matches each day on three different maps of PUBG Mobile.
Talking about the Afterparty Showdown event, which will be held in week 2 from 18 August to 20 August, is featuring 12 teams from across the world. Like the Main Event, Afterparty Showdown will also conclude with six matches each day but on six different maps.
The sponsors of the tournament and PUBG Mobile has revealed the Map order and schedule of the matches of PMWI 2022 Main Event and Afterparty Showdown which are included in this article.
PMWI 2022: Schedule and Map Order for Main Event and Afterparty Showdown
Main Event
The Main Event has three maps in order for teams to play on. The first match on each day will start with the battle on the Erangel map followed by the second match which will include the desert-map Miramar. The third match will be played on the rainforest map of PUBG Mobile, Sanhok. The map order will repeat with Erangel and Miramar except for the last match which will again feature the Erangel map.
Match 1 – Erangel
Match 2 – Miramar
Match 3 – Sanhok
Match 4 – Erangel
Match 5 – Miramar
Match 6 – Erangel
Each day will feature three matches on Erangel. Two on Miramar, and one on Sanhok. Therefore, in total nine matches will be played on Erangel, six on desert-map, and three on Sanhok.
PUBG Mobile has introduced some rules to make the game fair for everyone.
- All the matches will be played in Thirdperson Perspective (TPP) mode.
- The sound visualization, aim-assist, red zones, and flare guns will be disabled.
- Each and every weapon, scope, and magazine will have a double spawn applied.
- Players only have to wear items provided by PUBG Mobile to them like Skins and outfits.
PUBG Mobile is strict with the rules, therefore, all the players who will not follow the rules or use any cheats, or are found guilty of breaching any rules and code of conduct will not be allowed to play further in the game.
Afterparty Showdown Schedule and Map Order
The Afterparty Showdown will have a different scoring system and includes 12 teams who will battle each other in six matches each day. The map order for Afterparty Showdown will feature six maps including Livik and Karakin which are the smallest map in PUBG Mobile with a dimension of 2×2 km. Here is the order of maps on each day:
Match 1 – Erangel
Match 2 – Livik
Match 3 – Vikendi
Match 4 – Karakin
Match 5 – Sanhok
Match 6 – Miramar
The Afterparty Showdown will feature the top five teams from the standings of PMWI 2022 Main Event and seven teams who will directly join the week 2 event by regional voting or invitation.

PMWI 2022 Afterparty Showdown Teams
The PMWI Afterparty Showdown will have 12 teams as participants. The top five from the Main Event will participate in the event and five teams are chosen from the regional voting, which is:

- Deadeyes Guys (Nepal),
- Bigetron Red Aliens (Indonesia),
- S2G Esports (Turkey),
- ALPHA 7 ESPORTS (Brazil)
Meanwhile, 7Sea Esports is being awarded the invitation as they won the Battlegrounds Mobile India Showdown 2022 whereas the final team is R8 Esports, who are specially invited to the event.
PMWI 2022: Prize Distribution and Live Broadcast Details
The PMWI 2022 Main Event consists of a huge prize pool of $2 million from which each team will get participation fees of $25000. The Afterparty Showdown will feature a prize pool of $1 Million. Both weeks will be broadcast live at 4:30 IST or 2:00 Riyadh local time on the PUBG Mobile Esports channel.
