What Is The Weakness Of Gyarados In Pokemon?
Gyarados is a Pokemon from all the back in Gen 1. It is an iconic Pokemon & is a Fan-favorite to this day. Gyarados is a Water & Flying Type Pokemon that evolves from Magikarp at level 20. Being a Water & Flying Type Pokemon, Gyarados has a Weakness to only Electric & Rock. It has only 2 Weaknesses but the Electric Weakness is 4x & Rock Weakness of 2x. It seems like Gyarados is Weak because of these typings but it is one of the best Pokemon to have on your Team. Below are the Type interactions with the Others & Gyarados in Pokemon.
Gyarados is a Pokémon that dates back to Generation 1. It is a beloved Pokemon that has become recognizable over time. Gyarados, a Pokemon of the Water and Flying types, evolves from Magikarp at level 20. Gyarados is only Weak to Electric & Rock because it is a Water & Flying Type Pokemon. It only has two weaknesses, however, the rock weakness is twice as great as the electric weakness. Due to these typings, Gyarados appears to be weak, but it is one of the best Pokémon to have on your team. The Type interactions with Others & Gyarados in Pokemon are listed below.
- Super Effective against Fighting Type, Ground Type, Rock Type, Bug Type, Fire Type, & Grass Type.
- Not Effective against None.
- Resists against: Fighting Type, Bug Type, Steel Type, Fire Type, & Water Type.
- Weak against: Rock Type.
- Super Weak against Electric Type.
- Immune against: Ground Type.
As you can see from the list, Gyarados possess 5 Resistances & 1 Immunity despite having a poor Weakness to Electric & Rock. Furthermore, there isn’t a Type in the game right now that can withstand Gyarados’s blows. Gyarados can Mega Evolve into a Water-Dark Type, changing from a Water-Flying Type. Although noticeably stronger, Gyarados doesn’t benefit all that much from the type change. Alolan Golem is the Pokemon that Gyarados is completely weak to (the whole Evolution line). The typical Electric &/or Rock Pokemon are then powerful foes of Gyarados.
