PGA Tour, LIV Golf Merger: Yet Nothing from Tiger Woods
No one knows what’s going on in Tiger Woods‘s mind while several PGA Players have spoken out loudly against the LIV merger, calling out Jay Monahan, PGA Tour Commissioner a ‘Hypocrite” in the middle of Tuesday’s meeting.
PGA Tour had a rivalry with LIV Golf, Saudi-backed Men’s Golf Club since it was created in 2022. They forced players to pick a side and choose between two. And now the news of two great Golf organizations merging together left players disappointed and angry.
Where several players come out and said Monahan ‘Hypocrite’, Tiger Woods hasn’t said anything yet. The most important player in Golf history, who’s always been with PGA Tour, not only supported Jay Monahan from the get-go but rumors said he turned down LIv’s $1.2 Billion offer.
Woods hasn’t started playing in PGA since he caught a leg injury in a 2021 car crash in Los Angeles.
Everything will be blurry until The Player himself shed light on the LIV merger.
