Patriots RB Stevenson Said ‘Ask Bill Belichick’ Why He’s Not On Practicing
New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson is itching for practice on the ground with the team. When the media asked ‘why he is not practicing’ he said, ‘Ask Bill Belichick.’
Before the Patriots started their first padded practice, RB Stevenson said in an interview that he couldn’t wait to get out on the field. And during Wednesday’s session, he’s been part of limited practice.
25-year-old Stevenson was asked by the media why he’s not fully part of the practice session yet.
He said with a smile,
“Honestly, you gotta ask Bill Belichick. I don’t know why I’m not practicing. You got to ask Bill, really.”

He clearly hides his frustration behind his smile and explains that he also wanted to be part of padded practice but he doesn’t know the answer.
Rhamondre said,
“I’m itching to get in there, especially when we have pads on. When we don’t have pads on, I’m not itching as much. But since the pads are on and stuff, yeah, I’m itching to get out there.”
Rhamondre played college football for Oklahoma a bowl game MVP, and was selected by the Patriots in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. In his last season finished with 1,040 rushing yards and five touchdowns. He also had 69 receptions for 421 yards.
Rhamondre Stevenson doesn’t say anything outrageous which he will regret in the future while talking to media.
