Patrick McEnroe, John McEnroe’s brother, predicts that Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner will meet in the 2023 ATP Finals final.

Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, and Jannik Sinner, the tournament’s top four seeds, have advanced to the semifinals in Turin. Djokovic won his last group match 7-6(1), 4-6, 6-1 over Hubert Hurkacz, bringing his record in the Green Group to 2-1. However, he had to wait for the outcome of the match between Holger Rune and Jannik Sinner, hoping for the Italian to win to secure his spot in the last four.

Sinner went on to win the whole round-robin stage. He overcame Rune 6-2, 5-7, 6-4, completing the Green Group with a 3-0 record and assuring Djokovic’s progression to the semis as well.

Carlos Alcaraz, on the other hand, finished first in the Red Group after defeating Daniil Medvedev 6-4, 6-4. Sinner will take on Daniil Medvedev in the semifinals, while Djokovic will face Alcaraz.

Patrick McEnroe posted to social media after witnessing the semifinal draw and claimed that World No. 1 Novak Djokovic and home audience favorite Jannik Sinner would meet in the event final.

“It’s quite a final 4 tomorrow @atptour final…. Clearly the best 4 players in 2023. It’s @janniksin vs @DaniilMedwed And @DjokerNole vs @carlosalcaraz. I’ve got Novak and Sinner to the final. You?” McEnroe posted on X (formerly Twitter).
