Patrick Mahomes Looks Beyond Second Super Bowl Win, Aims for Third Lombardy Trophy
Patrick Mahomes, the talented quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, is already setting his sights on a third Super Bowl triumph, despite winning his second championship just a few months ago.
As the Chiefs prepare to receive their Super Bowl rings, Mahomes was asked about the upcoming celebrations. He made it clear that it would be the last time they celebrate their recent Super Bowl win before shifting their focus to the next one.
Mahomes said to KSHB’s Aaron Ladd before the celebration, “Tonight is the last night to get to celebrate it, then you move on…”

This latest victory adds another Super Bowl ring to Mahomes’ collection, making it his second championship in the last four seasons. Last year, he achieved a remarkable feat by winning the NFL MVP award, the Super Bowl, and the Super Bowl MVP award all in one season.
At a similar point in his career, Tom Brady had won his third Super Bowl. While it may be too early to call Mahomes the Greatest of All Time (GOAT), he has shown incredible talent and potential to remain a dominant force in the NFL for many years to come.
The big question is whether Mahomes can win his third Super Bowl this year and become the first quarterback since Brady to win back-to-back titles.
