Patrick Mahomes Defends Travis Kelce After Winning ‘The Match’

You know how great Patrick Mahomes is at football, but did you know he’s also skilled at golf? Well, he teamed up with his teammate Travis Kelce for a big golf event called ‘The Match.’ People weren’t sure if Kelce could handle it, but they proved everyone wrong.

They went up against Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, who are former basketball champions. Mahomes and Kelce won the match quite comfortably, taking the victory with 3&2 on the scoreboard. It was basically over after only 10 holes out of the 12 they played.

Before the event, some people doubted Kelce’s golfing abilities, but he proved them all wrong. After the match, Mahomes went on Twitter and had some fun with the doubters, saying, “I mean y’all thought @tkelce wasn’t going to show up when the lights come on!!”

Chiefs fans were thrilled with their favorite players’ win. 

One fan said, “Hell yeah, always the clutch player!!! My team!!! Go Chiefs!” 

Another fan compared Kelce to golfing legend Tiger Woods during his prime.

While a third fan tweeted, “Knew you & Trav were gonna win the match against Klay & Steph. Mahomes – Kelce synergy & chemistry is unmatched, even off the field and in a different sport enjoy this win boys, can’t wait to see you both Pat & Trav on the field this season for Chiefs Kingdom. 3rd ring soon.”

Overall, it’s been a great year to be a Chiefs fan, with their star players shining both on and off the football field.
