Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow’s brief conversation after the Chiefs’ victory over the Bengals
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow have become bitter rivals. The two QBs share nothing but respect for each other.
After the 23-20 victory over the Bengals, Mahomes found his way to show Burrow down. With all the games they played, this was the first time Mahomes defeated the other QB.
Mahomes was not able to get enough recognition. On the other side, Burrow got a lot of fame and recognition. Even the stadium Arrowhead was called ‘Burrowhead’; just because of him. This was frustrating to Kansas, and after their victory, they mocked the Bengals and the quarterback.
However, after Sunday’s AFC Championship, Mahomes and Burrow were captured together.
A short conversation between the two QBs
The interaction between Burrow and Mahomes seemed clear, though one might read between the lines and say that they were trying to pull each other’s leg. The short conversation also portrayed their fun while competing with each other.
Mahomes said, “Many more, dog. Many more,” to Burrow.
Burrow responded “You have a hell of a career, dog. Go win it now.”
Looks like Burrow was trying to cheer and congratulate Mahomes. It could be a euphemism too. The Chiefs will face the Eagles in Super Bowl 57 now. And it must be hard to digest for the Cincinnati Bengals as well as the QB.
The Chiefs and the Bengals will meet for the fifth time next season. It will be exciting to see both the QBs together once again.
