Parick Mahomes, Chiefs Restructured Deal Worth $210.6 Million Makes NFL History

The Kansas City Chiefs and their star quarterback Patrick Mahomes restructured the deal and it’s worth $210.6 million.

Patrick Mahomes, once again becomes the highest-paid player in football in NFL history. Mahomes and the Chiefs restructured his current contract, so now he is guaranteed to earn $210.6 Million from 2023 to 2026.

Equity Sports CEO Chris Cabott, who negotiated the deal, told ESPN that Both sides plan to revisit the agreement again after the ’26 season.

According to the Adam Schefter reports,  

“The Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes have restructured his agreement, giving him $210.6 million between 2023 and 2026, the most money in NFL history over a four-season span. His compensation for those years is now guaranteed. Also, the Chiefs and Mahomes plan to re-visit the agreement again after the 2026 season, as told to ESPN by Equity Sports CEO, Chris Cabott, who negotiated the deal on behalf of Mahome.”

A week ago Bengals Joe Burrow received the highest-paid contract contract in NFL history for a five-year extension worth $275 million.

Two-time MVP Patrick Mahomes signed a 10-year contract worth $503 million with Kansas and also became the first professional athlete to ink a half-billion dollar contract.

Before this restructured deal Patrick’s annual salary was $45 million which changed into $52.65 million, which would rank him second among highest-paid quarterbacks.
