Paradox will reveal more details about Life by You on March 20, 2023, at a separate event featuring game creator Rod Humble.

Paradox’s Past Successes in Genre Expansion

Skylines were also announced at Paradox’s recent show. However, going against The Sims, which has essentially defined the entire genre, could be a different challenge. Additionally, developer Maxis has announced the development of the next Sims game, codenamed Project Rene.

It will be interesting to see how Paradox and Humble plan to tackle such a massive franchise. Going up against a game that is as popular as The Sims can be daunting, but it’s certainly an exciting time for fans of the genre. With Rod Humble at the helm of the project, the game could bring in new and innovative features to differentiate it from the Sims franchise.
