Overwatch 2 Players Disappointed with Ashe’s Latest Skin
Overwatch 2 players are voicing their frustration over Ashe’s latest skin, called the Raijin skin. Many are calling it a “pay-to-lose” microtransaction due to the fact that when players aim down the sights of Ashe’s gun with the skin equipped, more of the screen is covered than usual. This has made it difficult for players to aim and has led to a lot of disappointment. To make matters worse, the skin is only available for purchase for 1,900 Overwatch Coins, which equates to about $20 in real-world money.
Blizzard Takes Notice:
Thankfully, the Overwatch 2 development team has taken notice of the problem. Executive producer Jared Neuss responded to a tweet saying that they were personally talking to the team about the issue. While there has been no indication of an incoming fix, it is hoped that Blizzard will address the problem soon.
Previous Issues with Ashe’s Sights:
This is not the first time that Ashe’s sights have caused problems. Her Warlock skin also had an aim-down that was distracting and tough to work around, but at least that skin was available for free. Considering that the Raijin skin is an expensive purchase, players are hoping that Blizzard will fix the problem quickly.
More Problems Expected with More Skins:
With the game pushing out new skins every month, more problems like this are likely to arise. There are so many characters and moving parts in the game to account for that it’s important to fix issues quickly. While this problem doesn’t give players an advantage, it can certainly affect their gameplay experience.
Overwatch 2 Facing Other Issues:
Aside from the issue with Ashe’s latest skin, Overwatch 2 is facing other issues as well. Ongoing matchmaking issues have been frustrating players for some time now. If you like the Raijin skin, it may be best to avoid using it in competitive matches until a fix is released.
Overwatch 2 is a highly popular game that is beloved by many players around the world. While the game is known for its high-quality graphics and engaging gameplay, it is not without its flaws. The issue with Ashe’s latest skin is just one of many problems that the development team will need to address in order to keep players happy and engaged. We hope that Blizzard will work quickly to fix the problem and that players will continue to enjoy the game for years to come.
