Olivia Dunne’s opened up About Her Social Media
When it comes to college athletics, Olivia Dunne is the most popular personality ever. Other than her popularity for athleticism, she is also famous on social media.
The LSU gymnast was the right person to talk to potential college athletes about Name, Image, and Likeness. Dunne recently spoke with college football recruits at the On3 NIL Elite Series in Nashville.
During the talk, she opened up and shared the experience she got from her social media about success and failure. She also mentioned that you shouldn’t focus on increasing your followers but on your content and engagement.
“To keep (the momentum) going, you have to be consistent. Look at your engagement on social media. That’s something that I find very important with my audience— seeing how they engage with my posts because that’s what brands look at too,” she said.
Her mother, Katherine also had the same thoughts and shared them with young recruits.
“Be willing to show a little bit more of yourself than just your sport,” she said. “I think that brands really connect with you as a person. They like to see who you are, what your values are, and what you stand for.”
Although Dunno is not into the number of followers, with over 12 million followers on Instagram and TikTok the attention she gets is nothing but extraordinary.
