This is also NBC’s second-most-watched game regular season college football game in history. The only game that had more viewership of more than 22 million was Notre Dame’s winning game against Florida State in 1993.
This non-conference game between Ohio State and Notre Dame drew an audience like no other conference game ever did before. NBC served what people wanted and in return, the network had huge success with these big matchups.
We hope fans will have more like these games with electric endings.
