Ohio State Defensive Back Receives Assistance Following Injury
Saddest news for all Buckeyes fans this week.
During the first quarter of Saturday’s game against Penn State, Ohio State’s Ja’Had Carter got hurt. He couldn’t stand and had to be assisted off the field by the team’s medical staff. His left leg seemed to be bothering him, and he couldn’t put any weight on it.

Carter is Ohio State’s backup safety. He got injured during the kickoff after Penn State tied the game with a field goal. Carter, a senior transfer who previously played three seasons at Syracuse, has made five tackles this year. His best season was in 2020.
We hope Carter’s injury isn’t too serious. The game is still tied in the second quarter, and you can keep watching it on Fox.
