Official: Tottenham signs Danjuma on Loan
Tottenham has successfully bolstered their attack as they have brought in Dutch Winger Arnaut Danjuma on Loan. Arriving from Villarreal, the wingers will stay at Spurs for the remaining six months of the season.
This will be Danjuma’s second time playing in the Premier League. He earlier played for Bournemouth FC between 2019-21.
Before, joining Spurs, the Villarreal man was probably on his way to Everton. He was going to give his medical but Spurs swooped in and secured his signing.
What will Danjuma provide at Spurs?
Danjuma will be playing as a backup to the likes of Son Heung-min, Kulusevski, Richarlison, and Lucas Moura.
Tottenham is currently fifth in the Premier League standings. They are just three points off from the top four which will promise Champions League action next season. Apart from the league, Spurs are still in contention for the FA Cup and the Champions League.
Back in Spain, Danjuma was crucial in Villarreal’s functioning. Last season, he scored 16 goals across all competitions as the Yellow Submarine reached the last four in the Champions League.
However, this season, he barely made the starting line-up at Villarreal. He was not the first choice for Villarreal this season.
