Official Decision On Team’s Play-Caller From Mike Tomlin
The Houston Texans won against the Pittsburgh Steelers with a score of 30-6 this Sunday and Following the loss to the Texans, head coach Mike Tomlin announced that a lot of changes were coming.
“Hell yeah there’s going to be changes,” Tomlin told reporters in his postgame press conference.
Most fans in Pittsburgh thought Tomlin was finally done with offensive coordinator Matt Canada. Well, that’s not the case.
Tomlin had this to say about potentially making a change to the offensive play-calling: “Not at this juncture, no.”
Tomlin added that there has been no thoughts on changes to offensive coaching, play calling.

So, what did Tomlin mean by ‘changes’ on Sunday? He meant the intensity at practice.
Steelers fans won’t be happy with Tomlin’s choice. They’ve been wanting Canada out for a while now.
Canada has been the offensive coordinator since 2021. The team hasn’t performed well this season, and it might get worse if Kenny Pickett is out with a knee injury.
