Notre Dame HC Marcus Freeman About Deion Sanders On College GameDay
Notre Dame’s head Coach Marcus Freeman revealed how he feels about Colorado’s HC Deion Sanders.
Ahead of Notre Dame and Ohio State Saturday’s game, Marcus Freeman appeared on the College GameDay show. When he was asked about what are his thoughts on Coach Prime, he simply admitted that he is a big fan of Colrado’ coach.
Via On3.com report, Freeman said,
“To be 3-0 with a team that only won one game last year is tremendous. And I have the utmost respect for him and really the excitement he’s bringing to college football. I’m a college football fan, so to be able to bring that excitement, last night last week on Saturday at 10:30 p.m., usually I’m in bed. I said, let me see a little bit of Colorado.”
He also mentioned Coach Prime’s method of how he treats his players well and believes in them for who they are.
“You know, what I really love about what Coach Deion Sanders is doing is that he’s showing that you don’t have to be a certain way to lead. And that’s what I want our players to understand, my own children understand, is you can be who you are and be a leader.”

Notre Dame’ coach wasn’t mad about talking about Deion Sanders on the set. But guess what Notre Dame fans didn’t like it. Especially, when the two top ten teams are about to face off on Saturday.
One fan wrote, “Why the hell should Marcus Freeman be asked about Deion? College Gameday it’s that type of crap that’s going to turn people against Colorado.”
Another fan blamed ESPN for being under the influence of coach Prime, “Marcus Freeman is on set of Gameday so naturally they start talking to him about Deion. My word ESPN is on their knees for Deion and Colorado.”
Marcus doesn’t really care about much, his biggest priority right now is to lead Notre Dame against the Ohio State in this Saturday game.
