Noah Gragson Suspension upset the NASCAR Fans amid Controversial Social Media Activity

Noah Gragson, one of the best drivers in the NASCAR was reportedly suspended by the NASCAR and Legacy Motorclub due to a social media activity from him just a few days ago.

According to the reports, last week Gragson appears to like a meme that mocked George Floyd’s death on Instagram. Then later someone uploaded the screenshot of the moment Gragson’s account liked the meme on social media.

Then Gragson himself came out to clarify his actions.

“I am disappointed in myself for my lack of attention and actions on social media,” Gragson posted to his account. “I understand the severity of this situation. I love and appreciate everyone. I try to treat everyone equally no matter who they are. I messed up plain and simple.”

Racing fans reacted to NASCAR’s discipline for Gragson on Saturday.

“BRUH IT WAS REAL,” a user replied.

“Please learn from this Noah,” a fan pleaded.

“‘Lack of attention’ = ‘I forgot that anyone can see what I like, not that I’m sorry that I thought it was funny,'” another pointed out.

“No kidding. Beyond boneheaded. Especially in this day and age,” Chris Houck said. “#NASCAR and Legacy Motorclub had no choice but to suspend him. A George Floyd meme is…yikes.”

Now instead of Gragson, Josh Berry will reportedly drive the No. 42 car at Michigan tomorrow.
