No Man’s Sky: How to Find and Use Echo Locators?
No Man’s Sky (NMS) has recently introduced a new type of planet: the corrupted planet. These planets are teeming with Harmonic Camps, but to find them, you’ll need to use an Echo Locator. In this guide, we’ll show you how to obtain an Echo Locator and locate Harmonic Camps on corrupted planets.
Where to Find Echo Locator in No Man’s Sky?
Echo Locators in No Man’s Sky can be found on corrupted planets by destroying Dissonance Resonators. These large robots mine the surface of corrupted planets and can be found scattered throughout the planet’s terrain. If you’re having trouble locating one, try flying your starship over the planet’s surface to spot them from above.
However, be warned that attacking a Dissonance Resonator will raise your wanted level and attract the attention of corrupted sentinels. Additionally, obtaining an Echo Locator is not always guaranteed, and you may need to destroy multiple Dissonance Resonators to obtain one.
How to Use the Echo Locator in No Man’s Sky?
Once you’ve obtained an Echo Locator, you can use it to locate Harmonic Camps on corrupted planets. Simply interact with the Echo Locator in your inventory and activate the “Resonate” function. This will reveal a Harmonic Camp waypoint on your map, which you can then navigate to.
However, it’s important to note that Echo Locators will not work on barren planets with no atmosphere or exotic planets. If you find yourself on one of these planets, simply travel to another system with a corrupted planet to use your Echo Locator.
Corrupted planets in No Man’s Sky offer a unique and challenging experience for players. By obtaining an Echo Locator, you can discover Harmonic Camps and explore these planets in more depth. We hope this guide has been helpful in showing you how to find and use Echo Locators in No Man’s Sky. For more guides and tips on No Man’s Sky, be sure to check out our other articles.
