Nkunku praises Nagelsmann amid Tottenham links
Nagelsmann linked with replacing Antonio Conte as Spurs boss
Nkunku is set to join Chelsea in the coming summer as the Frenchman has already signed a pre-contract deal with the Blues. Ahead of his Premier League endeavor, Nkunku has spoken about his former manager at RB Leipzig. The 25-year-okd had told Spurs about the brilliance of the German manager as the rumors of him replacing Antonio Conte as the next Spurs manager gets stronger.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano first confirmed the sacking of Nagelsmann from Bayern as he tweeted: “FC Bayern and head coach Julian Nagelsmann have parted company. This decision was taken by CEO Oliver Kahn and board member Hasan Salihamidži? in consultation with club president Herbert Hainer. Nagelsmann will be succeeded by Thomas Tuchel.”
As per some reliable reports, with a series of dissappointing results, Spurs are considering relieving the Italian of his duties. Thus, Nagelsmann might be much closer to Tottenham than earlier expected.
What did Nkunku have to say about Nagelsmann and Tuchel?
In conversation with the German outlet Bild, Nkunku said, “Thomas Tuchel used to ask a lot of me [at Paris Saint-Germain], but I didn’t have enough time to do what he asked.”
“Julian Nagelsmann also expects a lot from me, and he’s demanding what I do in training and games. That’s taken me further. He also talks a lot about tactics.”
