Nintendo Adds Game Boy Titles and Kirby Games to Switch Online Library
Nintendo has added four classic games to the Nintendo Switch Online service, all available for free to those with a basic tier subscription. Two of the titles are Game Boy classics, with Kirby’s Dream Land 2 joining the library alongside BurgerTime Deluxe. Side Pocket, a pool simulator from the 90s, and scrolling shooter Xevious are also part of the latest additions.
No Major Titles, but Hidden Gems to Enjoy
While these titles may not have the star power of the recent Expansion Pack addition of Metroid Fusion, they offer plenty of entertainment value. The classic games can be enjoyed by both long-time fans and those new to gaming.
The Game Boy titles are a particular highlight, as they were previously only available for those with an Expansion Pack subscription. This latest addition gives players access to more Game Boy titles, which were last added in February.
No Oracle of Seasons and Ages Yet
Nintendo has yet to release the Game Boy titles previously announced for Switch Online. Fans waiting for The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Ages will need to wait a little longer for their release.
Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can now enjoy four classic games for free, including Kirby’s Dream Land 2 and BurgerTime Deluxe. While these titles may not be as well-known as some of the more popular games, they offer hidden gems to explore and enjoy. Nintendo has yet to release some of the previously announced Game Boy titles, including The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Ages.
