Nike Officially Declares Return of Kobe Bryant Brand

In a much-awaited announcement, Nike has confirmed that it’s bringing back the famous Kobe Bryant brand later this month.

After many rumors and speculations, the company has finally confirmed the news today.

In a playful tweet from the Nike Basketball account, they challenged people to spell out “iconic footwear” with their eyes closed and then excitingly revealed the comeback of the Kobe A.D. Brand.

To begin on a sentimental note, Nike plans to kick off this revival on August 23, which would have been Kobe Bryant’s 45th birthday. The next day holds a special significance too – it’s “Kobe Day,” also known as 8/24, honoring the two jersey numbers Bryant wore during his remarkable journey in the Hall of Fame.

As part of the revival of the Kobe brand, Nike is all set to introduce a new Kobe signature shoe on Thursday.

“Mamba Forever. ? The newest shoe in the iconic Kobe line is almost here. Tune into SNKRS ‘Live From the Archive’ (North America only) on August 10 for the unveiling and exclusive details on the upcoming release,” declared the Swoosh earlier today.
