Nico Kovac points out Bayern’s individual quality
Bayern’s individual quality played an upper hand in Wolfsburg’s loss, says Kovac
It was the former Bayern Munich manager Niko Kovac, who was on the opposite side as the head coach of Wolfsburg. He has claimed that his squad was at a disadvantage when facing Bayern Munich.
Despite that, Kovac was proud of his team’s performances and called the result “unlucky” for his side.
What did Kovac have to say?
As captured by @iMiaSanMia, Kovac said, “Bayern scored three goals from their first two shots, because Kingsley’s was a cross, not a shot. I think we were very unlucky to lose today. Their individual quality made the difference.”
Kovac’s men played a great game on their part showing signs of resilience. However, it was Bayern’s players who made a difference with an early 3-0 lead over the Wolves.
Nevertheless, Wolfsburg has proved this season that they are not a team that can be pushed around. Kovac’s techniques have proved to be a game changer for the side who aim to finish in the European spots.
